Professor Enrico Zio Appointed Chief Scientific Director to Accelerate Aramix Innovation

Datrix announced the appointment of Professor Enrico Zio as the Group’s new Scientific Director, following the acquisition of Aramis and the creation of Aramix, the company focused on applying artificial intelligence and advanced data science to industrial and business processes. The appointment strengthens Datrix’s scientific leadership and reinforces its commitment to innovation in AI, predictive analytics, and Industry 5.0 solutions.

Professor Zio, previously President and Scientific Director of Aramis’ R&D activities, is an internationally recognized expert in risk analysis, reliability engineering, and complex systems. He has authored more than 500 scientific publications, received the prestigious Humboldt Research Award, and has been consistently included among the world’s top scientists according to Stanford University rankings.

His appointment is expected to enhance Datrix’s expertise and support the development of advanced AI-driven solutions that improve efficiency, safety, sustainability, and decision-making across industrial sectors, while accelerating the growth and technological capabilities of Aramix and the wider Datrix ecosystem.
